– to replace old asphalt pavement with new one using technologies that will improve the physical properties of asphalt concrete and increase the repair period

Application of technobasalt™ basalt fiber gave a possibility to increase the crack resistance of the asphalt pavement, the resistance to rut formation, the resistance to landslides, the durability of the road surface. Basalt fiber is recommended to be added to the lower coarse-grained layer of asphalt concrete to increase the compressive strength up to 50%, to the upper fine-grained layer of asphalt concrete to increase the compressive strength up to 49%, as well as to crushed-mastic asphalt and concrete (where replace the cellulose fiber) and increase the tensile strengths of up to 25% compared to the CMA-20 reinforced with cellulose fiber.
