From October 18 to 20, 2017, the State Research Institute of Building Structures under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine held the International Scientific and Technical Conference on the topic “Scientific and Technical Problems of the Modern reinforced concrete “. The conference took place in Poltava in the premises of the Poltava National Technical University, co-organizer of the conference.
In the framework of the section “Concrete, reinforced concrete and steel structures, Experimental-theoretical researches, methods of calculation” the senior researcher of the National Transport University Koval Maxim Petrovich presented the results of experimental studies of the work of the girder elements reinforced with basalt-plastic rebar under the action of one-time and small-cycle loads. The girder made of heavy concrete and basalt fibrobone with different percentages of reinforcement with basalt-plastic rebar were investigated. It was noted in the report that high-level low-cycle loads do not reduce the ability of concrete beams reinforced with basalt-plastic rebar, and their influence on the deflections and the width of the opening of cracks in the beams is proposed to be taken into account by introducing empirical coefficients into the corresponding formulas.
